Urethane gel is a new material that adds ultra-strong adhesion and ultra-low elasticity to gel, which has the properties of both solids and liquids.
Proseven earthquake-resistant pads are made in Japan, manufactured entirely in Japan using only Japanese materials.
Proseven earthquake-resistant pads are a vibration damping material with excellent flexibility and adhesion, which gives them excellent shock absorption capacity to follow every tremor (forward and backward, left and right, up and down). They conform to the Japan Quality Assurance Organization’s (JQA) Earthquake-Resistant Equipment Fixing Device Inspection Standard (JQACS1117) and have passed the 1,000-Gal earthquake resistance test (seismic intensity class 7). Earthquake-Resistant Pads

Simply stick them onto the bottom of the item. It’s that easy, and you don’t need any tools. They can be removed without leaving any adhesive, so you can re-position them to get them in the best spot. You can also use them again and again after restoring their adhesive strength by washing off any dirt with water. (If a pad gets oil etc. on it, remove the oil with a neutral household detergent.)

Cautions when
Removing Proseven Pads

  • To avoid damaging the fitted item or the surface, do not abruptly tear off Proseven earthquake-resistant pads.
  • Remove light items slowly with a twisting action.

If an item is difficult to remove, put some neutral detergent onto a spatula or thin plastic card, wet it with water, then insert it into the space between the pad and the surface, and remove the item.

Proseven earthquake-resistant pads have passed off-gas (VOC) analysis (they do not give off volatile toxic substances harmful to health). They conform to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (Green Procurement Standard), they do not give off harmful organic gases, and they contain no lead, hexavalent chromium, mercury, cadmium, etc., which means they are a reassuringly safe, environmentally friendly material. They can be used in a wide temperature range, from -20°C to 75°C. For hygiene safety, they are also antifungal (JIS Z 2911 Fungus Resistance Test).

In addition, Proseven earthquake-resistant pads meet the safety standards of numerous public institutions and have received approval for tender to all Japanese government ministries and agencies.
  • Earthquake resistance: Passed 1,000-Gal earthquake resistance test (seismic intensity class 7)
  • Fire resistance: Conforms to Fire Test UL94 Standard V-2.HB (normal beam technique compliant)
  • Adhesion: 3,550 N (vertical) and 1,550 N (horizontal) in an adhesion test using one 100 mm x 100 mm pad
  • Light resistance: No discolouration or degradation after 7days at ultraviolet intensity of 255W/m2 in advanced light-stability test

Objective

Proseven’s Aims

Proseven has developed the only earthquake-resistant pads in Japan from eco-friendly, high-performance biomass. With the environment a key issue, the pads contain plant-derived constituents, making them a safe, reassuring, and environmentally friendly product. Compared to the conventional product Proseven has greatly increased earthquake resistance load to 1.4 kg/cm2 (conventional product is 1 kg/cm2), inhibited degradation, greatly improved product life to about 8 to 10 years (conventional product is 5 to 7 years), and also made them antibacterial as well as antifungal (JIS Z 2801 Antibacterial Performance Test). Having obtained Biomass Mark certification, we are contributing to the prevention of global warming and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
