Installed Proseven Seismic Brackets in Rehabilitation Room for Earthquake Protection!
“The rehabilitation room contains a variety of tools and equipment, both large and small. In the event of an earthquake, these could become dangerous projectiles and potentially injure patients. How should we implement countermeasures?”
Equipment: Steel rack
Seismic brackets: KPS5-1
Fixing method: This shelf has been seismically fixed with “Anti Tip Metal Brackets with Gel Pads for Furniture” using the wall and the top plate of the shelf. These brackets can be installed without lifting or moving the shelf. The transparent films are stuck on the wall to reinforce the wallpaper.

Equipment: Steel wire rack
Seismic brackets: SBS-N1054L
Fixing method: The cabinet, which is often moved around on casters, was secured against earthquakes with “Anti-Tip Strapwith Gel Pads” that can be easily moved by simply removing the strap. In addition, “Wallpaper Reinforcement Film” was applied to the wall.
The rehabilitation room is equipped with a multitude of tools, especially for occupational therapy. These tools come in various sizes and quantities, and are stored and managed on shelves. For ease of access, they are stored in an open state.
However, we were concerned that during an earthquake, the tools and equipment might scatter and potentially injure patients. Fortunately, our recent seismic reinforcement work has alleviated these concerns.
