Let&#8217;s take a look at what to watch out for in each case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Tornado<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tornadoes can send everything flying and cause buildings to collapse. If a tornado is close by, take shelter in a sturdy building or lie down in a shady spot or hollow, watching out for flying roof tiles and other debris. (*Prefabricated buildings, garages, storage sheds, etc. are dangerous as they may collapse.) If you are indoors, take shelter away from windows and walls, and protect your head and neck under a sturdy desk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Lightning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Be especially careful when playing outdoor sports such as golf, football, and baseball, and when enjoying leisure activities in parks, on the beach, and in the mountains. If you hear a rumble of thunder, evacuate to a building or car immediately. (*Thunderclouds approach faster than you think.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may be struck by lightning not only from above, but also from the side of a tree trunk or branch. Keep at least 4 meters away from trees and poles. Recently, the number of disasters caused by localized heavy rain has been increasing.
