Analysis of these reports reveals that such tragic accidents were caused by cases where people were &#8220;<strong><em>trapped under furniture<\/em><\/strong>,&#8221; &#8220;<strong><em>evacuation<\/em> <em>routes were blocked by fallen furniture<\/em><\/strong>,&#8221; and &#8220;<strong><em>glass<\/em> and stored items were broken\u201d <\/strong>and<strong><em> \u201dpeople were injured by shards of glass and stored items<\/em><\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow to fall over.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u30fbFurniture placed on carpets or tatami mats is more likely to topple over than on hard floors such as wooden flooring.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u30fbFurniture is more likely to fall over on the upper floors and upper stories of a building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
