During earthquakes, microscopes and optical equipment can shift, fall, or become damaged, leading to interruptions in medical services and costly repairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The hospital was concerned about the risk of microscope movement and tipping during earthquakes.
